The Oath of Taekwondo
The Oath must be done by all students and before the beginning of each class.

"I PROMISE
1. Observe the rules of Taekwondo;
2. Respect my instructors and superiors;
3. Never misuse Taekwondo;
4. Being a champion of freedom and justice;
5. Build a more peaceful world. "

At the beginning of every class, it should be read aloud to remind all students the objectives of TAEKWONDO.
Every student should always bear in mind that the better your technique, the better his spirit acquires Control, more humility, discipline, patience, intelligence, courage and better health.

This oath was translated / adapted for the Portuguese in 1971 by Grand Master Kun Mo BANG, based on the existing model at the time in South Korea
