What is the World Day of Taekwondo and why it was chosen this day?

This date was set at the WTF General Assembly, on July 25, 2006 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The 4th of September was the day chosen because on September 4, 1994,
the 103rd Session of the International Olympic Committee, in France, Taekwondo was included in the official program of the Summer Olympic Games
