The "Tae Geuk" is the spirit of Taekwondo, its the symbol that represents the principles of creation of the cosmos and the way of life of man, where the word has the meaning: Tae - start and Geuk - eternity.
The cosmos had no color or form, nor had beginning or end, before the creation of the world.
After the world was created, its power was man created where the essence is in the spirit of the sun and sky, while the woman is the spirit of the moon and earth.
It is believed that the man and woman are derived from Taegeuk.
0 Tae Geuk is light, unified center of the cosmos and human life, formed by Mu-Geuk circle represents infinity, the energy and the source of life, the Yin
